What is EFT?

EFT is a form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments for over 5,000 years, but without the use of needles. Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you think about your specific problem — whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc. — and voice positive affirmations.

Paper Sorting

I’ve always struggled with organizing papers. I had a box of letters that I was holding onto and I used EFT to help me change my perception of those letters. I would feel a lot of painful emotion when faced with them and after using EFT I experienced 2 major changes:

  • Now, when I read the letters I feel an abundance of love.

  • I no longer struggle with what to keep and what to get rid of when it comes to papers.

Staying organized in that area of my life has become easy! I was able to work through my emotions surrounding the physical objects at hand as a way of feeling better in my own space.

About Jen

Jen has been practicing and sharing Emotional Freedom Technique since 2005 when she studied it at Seeds for Change Wellness Center. She began her study of healing arts four years earlier with massage therapy and has been interested in the mind, body connection ever since.   She also studied hypnotherapy and completed a year and a half program in Ayurveda Life Counseling. She has witnessed amazing changes for herself and others around her with these techniques and is so grateful to share them with you.
